I've made some changes to the funding scheme. Different planter colours and substrates will no longer have an initial funding cost, instead they are all available at a flat rate. [b]Oct 2:[/b] Re-built several tree sprites from the ground-up to mesh with the 4 season theme. Planned tree species for a wide range of shapes and seasonal variations. Shop spreadsheet references the common name and scientific name of the specific trees being used. [b]Aug 29:[/b] First created Shop Spreadsheet. Targets for shop opening posted below. [/center] The idea of the shop is to have growing bonsai trees that have 4 stages, planted in dishes and substrate with customizable colours, and all paid for with combinations of Flight Rising items. The three basic configurations are 100px wide, 200px wide, and 500px wide (all sized to signature height of 94 px). Adopt Shops that other people should really get onto (i.e. I'm too busy for these):

• Emperor B/C - Sacrifice x-number of Imperials to get an Emperor with x-number of heads/extra body parts. Bonus points if the shop owner sets up a proper Imperial RP type thing.
• Hybrid B/C - Hybrid species babies for all of the dergs. Bonus points if some combos are incredibly ugly or have terrible wonky proportions.
• Familiar Zoo - Familiars placed in front of backdrops specific to each flight. Bonus point if all familiars are correctly scaled relative to each other (i.e. The centaur familiar is scaled to the size typical of a human, and the hedgehog is the size that it would be expected to be relative to a human), and to dragon sizes.

(B/C = base and colour, for the unknowledgeable)

Goals for shop opening:

1. Have several tree species completed for all 4 stages. (progress: 6/8, or 24/32)

2. Plan color palette for dishes & substrate that can be unlocked. (Complete)

3. Have 2 complete birb groups (progress: 2/2)(Complete)

4. Have 2 complete plant groups (progress: 2/2)

5. Outline rules for customs, including items that will always be custom made. (Complete)

6. Outline perks for people who unlock items. (Current thought is that unlocking a tree receives a "growing" version that goes through all 3 stages, plus 2 additional copies of the tree, which may each be chosen from any of the stages, and which can be redeemed immediately or saved for later. Unlocking an accent item likewise retrieves additional copies in some quantity TBD.)

If an item is not listed, then it is likely that it was determined to be unsuitable for the Bonsai setting. If an item has all pricing details greyed out, then that item is not yet able to be ordered, but is being considered at some point in the future. A single person may only hold one of three funding slots at any given time. Bonsai Funding and Additional funding are independent (a person can still be in line for one of each at the same time!). It is possible to skip the slots entirely in the case that the item being funded is part of an existing set (for example, the artwork for the WildWood Owls is already done, even though only the Sakura Owls have been funded so far). [b]March 3, 2016:[/b] For the moment, Coliseum-exclusive items are NOT eligible for the funding queue. You may strongly hint at me which ones you want (ideally, I'd like to have at least one plant per venue, for example), but it's so easy to gather the materials that there's no point having them edge out the other harder to obtain items for funding.[/quote]

I'll probably be sticking to FR-related species, at least until I've made them all (by my count, there are currently 11 distinct tree groups, or 22 different tree species total, not counting the 4 shiny star foraging items). The four species of apple will all have branches loaded with flowers & a few leaves as a 2nd stage of growth, somewhat like the mountain laurel. My current notes have the Honeycrisp as bright white flowers, the Granny Smith & Sour Green as pinkish off-white, and the Red Delicious as pale pink. The "mini potash peach" and "wisp fruit" will also have blossoms similar to apricot bonsai IRL (pink for the mini potash peach, and blue for the wisp fruit), and the shiny star cherry/apricot varieties will have a blossoming stage too.
