You're welcome to create & share adoptables here on Flight Rising. We do have a few rules we'd appreciate you following when you do so.
What is an adoptable?
- Adoptables are typically small images or pets that sometimes grow, change, or level up or depending on how many times they are viewed. Users will often share these adoptables in their own blogs and forums they frequent.
Adoptables in your signature:
- You may have up to 4 adoptables in your signature. These adoptables must be at or under 100x100 pixels. If you have larger adoptables that you wish to share, please create a thread for them (see next rule below.) 100x100 Flight Rising dragons placed in your signature count towards the 4-adoptables count. If you have a banner or other images in your signature in addition to the adoptables, you may be asked by a moderator to remove some of the images. Users most likely want to see your posts, not your adoptables when you type replies in the forum.
If you'd like to share larger size or larger quantities of adoptables, see below.
When sharing adoptables that you've adopted:
- If you'd like to share your adoptables that are too large for your forum signature, or a large quantitiy of adoptables, please create a single thread for them. If you own adoptables from 10 different sites, put them all in your one post. Please do not over-bump your posts. Once a day is more than enough. :-)
When sharing adoptables that you've created with the intention of allowing users to adopt them:
- Please create a single thread for the adoptables you are offering. This post should house the information from the creator about the adoptables, and all discussion about adopting their creations & questions about that particular adoptable should be kept to that thread. Please do not over-bump your posts. Once a day is more than enough.
Advertising Adoptables Websites:
- If your adoptables have their own website it's fine to advertise that here. As with the adoptables creation threads, please limit your advertised adoptable website to a single thread.
Never enter your Flight Rising user name and password into other websites.
Paid Adoptables:
- Exchanging adoptables for Flight Rising currency or other currency here on these forums is fine. Flight Rising is not responsible for these transactions. You are responsible to do your own research and make sure that the user has good reviews and is generally trustworthy.
If a user is found to have multiple complaints about scamming people in their adoptables thread, they risk a forum ban or having their thread locked at the moderator's discretion. Please conduct yourselves with kindness and integrity.
Art Theft:
- Art theft is taken very seriously. Reposting, tracing, or heavily referencing copyrighted works is not-allowed. If you are going to post an adoptable thread here, please use your own, original artwork. If you are using the artwork of others, you must have the original artist's permission and ensure that you are following their guidelines for using the art.
Appropriate Images:
- Adoptables should not have exposed genitalia or excessive gore. Please keep all artwork within the bounds of a PG-13 rating.

Undel Can we sell non-pet adoptables? On art sites, adoptables typically mean a certain design (animal or humanoid or anything) that you sell to other people. Are those allowed in this forum?

Yes!
