It's awesome you guys have implemented the mentioning here on the forums, it makes it so much easier to reply to other users and grab their attention on this very busy site. However, whenever you try to reply to a mention it may/may not grab the user and also doesn't actually reply to the thread.

@Undel @Akiri Try it for yourself, try to reply (right from the alert) to this now that I've tagged you.

I replied from an alert and had the same thing happen.
Here's the thread, my reply isn't there : http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=mb&board=gend&id=25150
But I can see a duplicate thread listed on my profile that leads to my reply. If you copy/paste that link (which only shows the alert and my reply) it takes you to the regular thread.

Using Google Chrome, Windows 7

I have mentioned this too (the thread may have been named in a less helpful way http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=mb&board=bug&id=18371)
