TOPIC | Come on a Yeti hunt with me! [NEW STUFF]

[color=red]NEW STUFF IN RED[/color] I've been searching for the Yeti off and on since I could grind Boreal Woods. According to my Rich Iron Ore count, I've killed at least 300, that doesn't include Burlap Sacks, or oft times when I get nothing. So I decided, I'm going to find the Yeti if it kills me. I will be grinding the Boreal Woods every day (Except Elemental Holiday weeks), and I will be listing the results for the day here. This is a two part goal, I want to catch a Yeti (obviously), and I want to see if I can get one of everything that is in the woods. If I can, I'll do an "ALL THE THINGS" raffle, including familiars, food and item stacks, apparel, chests, the whole nine. Now I already did a trial run with this, and realized if I want to be productive, I'm not going to be able to be as detailed with these reports as I originally wanted. It REALLY drags down my battles:minute ratio to take notes in the first place, much less track every battle, enemy, loot, and grab screen caps. Plus, lets be honest, no one gets excited about having 1,000+ Shalebuck horns. So I'm going to have to fudge a bit, and keep far less detailed notes. I'm going to be grinding for at least 1.5 hours a day solely in Boreal Woods in solidarity with you.

So far, I've gotten 5 Maulers. No yetis. And I seem to encounter yetis far more often that most users. For 100 battles, about 40 contained a yeti.

@Scandinavia Last night, I had 15 back to back, it was ridiculous. Today is a bit more normal so far. @Chespin I'd love to see that, in a perfect world I'd have obsessive detailed charts, in fact I've been debating even doing this, because there was so much data lost from when I started there. I'm insanely jealous of your Boreal familiar collection. All I seem to get is the stupid Mauler time after time. I have gotten two Nochnyrs, but those are the only familiars I've gotten without buying. Shalebucks still elude me D: Now that I think about it, I rarely get Shalebuck mobs at all...?
