Thanks Kelthy for making this banner! [b][size=5]Main Rules[/b][/size][/center] [LIST] [*] Hatch or obtain an ungened plentiful dragon of [b]YOUR[/b] flight. This dragon can be gen 1 or not. The gender of this dragon will determine how you select future heirs so choose wisely! This dragon is your founder! [*] Find a mate for your founder from one of the ten other flights. [b]You can not use a dragon from your founder's flight ever[/b]. You're trying to expand your dragon kingdom here! This mate can have any genes/breed. You can only spend up to 10k on this dragon. [*] Breed your founder and mate in your nest or another nest of the [b]SAME[/b] flight as you. [b]The gender of your founder will determine your next heir.[/b] If your heir is male then the first male in your clutch will be your next heir. If your clutch is all opposite gender then select the first born. [*] For each generation [b]add an additional 10k to the maximum price[/b] you can spend on finding mates for your heirs. 2nd generation is 20k, 3rd is 30k, etc. [*] [b]You must breed with a different flight each generation.[/b] The goal is to have bred with each flight by the end. Here's an example of what it should look like: Founder = Nature 1st gen: Nature x Earth 2nd gen: Nature x Light 3rd gen: Nature x Shadow 4th gen: Nature x Fire 5th gen: Nature x Water 6th gen: Nature x Wind 7th gen: Nature x Ice 8th gen: Nature x Plague 9th gen: Nature x Lightning 10th gen: Nature x Arcane [b]11th gen: Your final dragon![/b] [*] There is no set order you must breed with other flights. [*] You can't use breed/gene change scrolls on your heir or mates before they mate. You may of course change them how ever you want after they've bred. [/LIST] [center][b][size=5]Scoring[/b][/size][/center] You're welcome to keep track of your score while you do this challenge. [u]This text is taken directly from the Original Legacy Challenge[/u]. [LIST] [*] 2 points for every 10k under budget you came when buying mates for your heirs (round prices up). Example: in your 5th generation with a limit of 50k you only spent 18k - round up to 20k, leaving you 30k under budget = 6 points [*]Advanced optional scoring: 2 points for every 10k made from selling/exalting legacy dragons (old founder/mates or non-heir hatchlings) [*]Hatchling scoring: 1 point for a plentiful breed (tundra, guardian, mirror, fae) 2 points for commons (pearlcatcher, ridgeback, snapper, spiral) 3 points for uncommons (skydancer) 4 points for limited (imperial) 5 points for rare (wildclaw, coatl) 1 point if 5 egg nest 3 point per treasure gene 5 points per gem gene (circuit, iridescent, shimmer) 3 points for double colours (xxy, xyx, yxx) 5 points for triple colours (xxx) Heir multiplier: your heir scores double Example: a basic/seraph (3)/basic snapper (2) would score 5 - doubled to 10 if it was your heir dragon [/LIST] [center][b][size=5]Additional Info[/b][/size][/center] [i]Do all the mates I purchase have to come from other people's legacy challenges?[/i] Yes. The only exception to this rule is for your 1st generation mate for your founder. You're allowed to buy a non-legacy challenge mate in this case for the sake of easing into the challenge. Generation 2-10 must have mates from other challenges. [i]Can I ignore/add certain rules to my challenge?[/i] Yes. This is purely for fun and there's no prize for completing this. You can make this easier or harder if you so please. [i]How do I find mates for my heir?[/i] Right here! You may post here when you're searching for dragons of certain flights. You may also post little bios about your "royal" dragons here and the progress you've made. I plan on doing a story thing for my challenge. For anyone reading this I'm looking for a male for her! Any flight aside from Nature (my flight) and Plague (I plan on doing Plague last for story reasons).
