Skins and Accents

Hello everyone, The winners have been notified and prizes have been sent out. If you have not heard from me via private message, then your entry was not chosen as a winner. This was (as always) a very difficult contest to judge. There were so many beautiful entries, and it was lovely to see them all. Sometimes we couldn't choose an entry due to technical details (shadow layer not maintained, pixellation, etc), the components already being used in another selected skin, or an overabundance of a particular breed/gender combo. Please know that everyone did an amazing job, and should feel proud for your accomplishments! If you were not a winner, it is okay to print the skin or accent entry as a custom skin. If you were a winner - please do not print your winning entry as a custom skin, as per the rules. :) We're going to be rolling these skins out over the course of several months, a little bit at a time like we did for the coliseum and marketplace skin contests. ------------------------------------------- [center][b]This thread is for discussions only. [b]The exception and addition to the existing rules is that we are are requiring all [i]contest accents[/i] cover a minimum of 5% of the dragon, and a maximum of 50%[/b] (this is a change from the custom accent rules, which state an accent may be 1%-30% - this rule still holds true for all non-contest accents.) Accents are recommended to be markings rather than apparel, which is provided through the festive favors shop. These are for swipp trades. I was using the gem marketplace skin as an example, because it's one I made a long time ago. I did not want to use someone else's skin as an example without their permission!

We will eventually have another gem marketplace contest, but this is not it. (I think everyone likes to know EXACTLY what you are submitting for. This is for a swipp-swap exclusively!)
