I've never seen this suggested before, but apologies if it has and I missed it. Since elemental flight and flight membership are such important parts of the site, I've always thought it would be logical for the forums to display a user's flight amongst all the other information along the side. While a lot of users have flight banners in their signatures, not all of them do, and sometimes I find myself curious as to what flight a user was in. For example, I was involved in a forum game in which teams were occasionally determined by flight. while we had a spreadsheet listing everyone, being able to see which flights were talking at a glance would have been handy early on. In large discussions, such as the all-flight dominance battle discussions, being able to quickly see if there was a lot of interest from one or two flights or representatives from all flights might be helpful. Either way, since flight is so integral to users' identity on the site (much more so than something like achievement points or bestiary entries), I feel like it has a rightful place along the side there.
