Today while I was in the auction house looking for some new dragons to buy, I realized that a person I blocked was in the middle of that list. I blocked them for a VERY good reason, and definitely don't want to support them in any way on this site, especially not with my treasure and gems
I double checked to make sure that they were still blocked by going to their profile page, and they most definitely are! So it's a matter of the site not blocking them in the auction house
This is probably a low priority thing for the admins, but for me, who blocks people who are racist/etc, this is kind of a big deal. I don't want anything to do with these people, period, and definitely don't want to give them my money

i am the same way... definitely don't want to throw money at people i consciously chose to avoid associating with for good reason. (edit: and i also don't want to discover one of the dragons i've hatched in their lair...) support.

No support. You block them so that they can't bother you, if you don't want to buy their dragons you don't have to but there's no need to block them completely. I have no problems buying things from people I blocked because it's a transaction that doesn't involve them bothering me.
Blocking is a useful feature, but it's to stop people from bothering you directly, not so you can make sure you don't buy from them. It takes a whole second to read the seller name if you want to be careful.

I don't actually have anyone blocked on the site but I totally support this idea. I know there are a few people that I wouldn't ever want to give my business to, despite not having them blocked but maybe if this was implemented, I would block them.

There are a number of users I absolutely don't want to ever buy from and it would be nice if their listings be hidden so that I don't accidentally give them money. 8|

No support because this. There IS a point, people, where personal responsibility comes in. With something like this, it's that.
If you don't want to buy their dragons, simply check the buyer before you accept.

If I ever have to blacklist someone (or multiple someones) and don't want to interact with them in any way; I also don't want to have to/remember their name(s) everytime I go shopping. I'm afraid I don't even remember names of some people I know IRL for months; I'm a visual person and remember people by face. And the Auction House only uses username, not avatar image (an image that can also be changed).
It would be nice to have the option to blacklist for full site; otherwise it could well be impossible for people to remember a select list of names on the fly for the rest of their time on FR. And the need to remember would just keep bad feelings close to the surface.
