the eye colors are supposed to signify where the dragons were born, its kinda like trying to change your own heritage. I know magic and all but i dont think its necessary.

I'm kind of on the fence with this since there are dragons in my lairs that would look amazing with certain eye colors...but no support.

No support for some of the same reasons stated before me.

First of all, it's the dragon's heritage, something that cannot, and should not be wiped away just because it looks good to do so. For a deeper, more important reason, maybe, but no one has suggested such a reason before.

Second of all, there are nest rental services. I know this does nothing for a dragon that is already in existence, but that's how it is. The best thing to do is find a suitable mate that will give you the desired patterns on their hatchlings, and rent out the appropriate nest to get the eye color you want.

Third of all, it's a breeding game. Why does that matter? Because anything that will make breeding one's dream dragon(s) easier will be met with much scrutiny, since that's the main goal of the game. That's why sex-change scrolls have been shot down so many times. They make breeding easier, too easy. And I feel that just making a scroll to change eye color takes away an element of challenge from the game.

Okay so let me rant for a second here, nothing against you personally. I'm just frustrated. What is this eye color rant week? This is the how many-nth that I've seen? This is the third that I've replied too! RANT OVER! First let me start with my usual: No Support. Second: My reasoning is everything that @Daxillionyx said. Now here is my personal opinion and responses to everything. She is lovely but would be perfect with Nature or even Arcane eyes. Guess what? I'll live, my life does not revolve around perfect dragons right off the bat. My game does not revolve around having everything handed to me, in fact I HATE when things are easy for no reason. I like knowing that I worked towards something, I feel prouder of the outcome. By giving us some type of item that will make my dragon go from Fire to Nature would feel like a cheap victory. Instead I'll breed her to a Green/Pink/Z dragon in a nature nest and get what I want. I have a friend in Nature, she has use of my nests as I do of hers. [/center][/quote] My response: GET A NEW DRAGON! It is literally as simple as that to go from using a Plague dragon to n Nature one for Coli grinding. Again, hard work gets results, you're going to be grinding the Coli anyways, use it to train up your new fighter. Now I have no experience with a Coli so my opinion should hold less weight here. TO HEED OF FURTHER ARGUMENTS SEE BELOW! Here is a common argument for why these should happen. Supporter: I want to make W character from X fandom into a dragon but I'm in Y flight and W has Z eyes so I think the site should change to fit what I want because I say so. (Yes this how you all sound, live with it.) My response: I get your point here, I have several characters from Sailor Moon that I wish to dragonize and not all of their eye colors are purple(Shadow as is my flight.), in fact most of them are blue. Here is the whole list ad to the characters, their eye colors and what Flight's Nest I would need to use. Mercury: Blue (Water) Venus: Blue (Water) Moon: Blue (Water) Mars: Purple (Shadow) Jupiter: Green (Nature) Saturn: Purple (Shadow) Uranus: Blue (Water) Neptune: Blue (Water) Pluto: Maroon (Plague) Yes, it would be so much easier to simply have an item and 'poof' my purple eyed Mercury dragon now has blue eyes. Instead I'll try to become friends with several water people and offer them the use of my nests in exchange for use of theirs. This way I gain new friends and I get what I want. Also, why should Flight Rising have to change to fit YOUR fandom's mythology/lore? Flight Rising is NOT your fandom so it should NOT be built to suit X fandom just because it will make it so much easier for you. Supporter Argument #2: It would put a stop to people who steal dragons. My response: It would also put a legit business(Nest Renting) out of business. Granted a lot of people nest rent for free, at least that I've seen, so not much a business but, either way. I have a simple solution... make friends! Be kind to people, a lot of people on this site are good, nice people who will give your dragons back right as soon as the nest hatches. I've seen countless Drama Rising posts where the Nest Owner has begged people to take their dragons back because the original owner isn't replying to them. Not everyone wants your dragons forever! ((I apologize if I come off as demeaning but I'm tired of this topic popping up, especially 3 times(that I've seen) in the previous week alone.))

As much as this would be convenient for me, I still have to say no support for reasons that others mentioned.
