I keep finding myself having to manually count digits to figure out how much I have. Commas every three digits (e.g. 1,000,000) would be easier to read.

No support. This is not an universal way of marking it. Some places and systems use commas as decimal points, you know. And, it will not only confuse my brain, but my computer, too. In code, comma is one of the functional symbols. It will be a menace that spawns more errors than apostrophes in familiar names used to. It will take extra computation power, etc.

Agreed with Shienven, no support for the comma. It isn't universal and frankly it looks kind of untidy...
However, I would like some way to help differentiate digits. One thing I have seen used that seems to work very well is just a small space/gap every 3 digits. I think that would be fine.

Support! PHP actually has a function for this, and it can use decimals or commas for number separation. :D

The numbers should be separated somehow, it annoys me.

Support for the gap every three digits model; I don't care how the digits get chunked into three, I just want to know if something is selling for 100kT or 1mil without counting zeros.

Support for the general idea, but as Shienvien said, commas are not universal. I like the idea of spaces every 3 digits (1 000 000 looks better than 1000000), or maybe hyphens? Though it may look too much like a phone number (1-000-000).
Ooh, big support for some sort of separator between three digits! A space, a period, a comma -- just something so I don't have to count and re-count before selling a dragon for 100000 (or 10000???? better re-count zeroes).
