Biography
for Fanartsy on sep 3; 250g
He wasn’t born in Mu but Leon lived there his entire life. His parents were merchants from the Wastes and often came to the Mu to do trade. Leon never even saw the clan of his birth and other than his eyes has no ties to his volcanic homeland. All he knows is the Caravan because as soon as he and his siblings hatched his parents took the entire family on a trading venture. Once he was old enough to see over the top of the counter his parents would often leave him alone to tend the store with his older siblings while they went to broker deals with other traders. Of course for a young dragon things like watching over a shop that was better managed by his older siblings became boring quickly. Leon made friends with other children of the city. Both those of Mu and those of the Caravan. They played in the streets of the city, getting into all sorts of trouble that not a few times landed them in trouble with the Windborne that ended with Leon getting a stern talking to by his parents. Of course, that didn’t stop them. As Leon and his friends grew older they stopped the pranks of young dragons and turned their attentions on how to make something of themselves. As a Wind clan at heart the Caravan was well known for its races both in the Sea and in the sky. Winning always netted a good amount of gold as well. Good money for young dragons with a bit less than perfect reputations. Leon was the fastest of them and they’d often enter races together and Leon would lose several races in a row so his odds became higher. Then they’d all bet on him and they’d rake in the gold. This usually worked even when Leon and his friends didn’t race together. Few could keep up with Leon in their size category and even when it came to flight Leon was a surprisingly good flier for a Wildclaw and even learned how to sail and fly airships. Then his luck ran out. Leon ended up in a horrible crash during an airship race when his WLG shorted out and he smashed his ship into a competator. His competator ended up dying and Leon barely survived. Though he had enough money to afford treatment to repair his broken body it was not without a price. The dragon that could fix him was a member of the Caravan and they did not tend to simple members of Mu. So to get the help he needed before death took him Leon had to join the Caravan. And so Leon was fixed up but he wasn’t as he was before. Lightning or Arcane made prostetics were good but they were no substitute for his old flesh. Most of Leon’s left leg had to be completely rebuilt as did nearly all of the delicate bones in his wings and shoulders. Even his tail, arm, and face needed to be restored and metal and magic did not respond as quick as his old flesh. With his repaired leg Leon could no longer run and flying was difficult thanks to his grafted wings. Leon could no longer race. It didn’t take him long to fall into a horrible depression. Unknown to him the condition of him joining the Caravan to be allowed to undergo the procedjure to get his new limbs was a ruse. Orchstrated by the spymaster, Nari, and the Windsinger’s Tale’s Captain, Senter, it was just an excuse to force Leon to join the Caravan. They had need of his skills and as a dragon raised on the streets of Mu it was unlikely he’d ever have joined the Caravan on his own without being pressed. While they didn’t sabotage his ship they did capitalize on his desire to live. Once he was phsyically better Senter approached Leon to give him an offer he didn’t want to refuse. To come and be a member of a small, and very elite, team, who had the honor to pilot the Windsinger’s Tale. Leon was not a fool and he did not refuse. Now Leon is one of the most senior pilots of the Windsinger’s Tale. He takes his responcibilites seriously and has come to terms with the limitations of his prostetic limbs. He still visits the friends in Mu that still remain from time to time and they tease him about being too clean cut to hang out with them anymore. It doesn’t bother him. The other pilots are his friends and he’s got a near perfect life now. Perfect mate, prestigeous job in an ancient clan, and the knowledge that he is needed and valued by those around him. He thinks he’s doing pretty good for himself and his parents are thrilled he’s come into such a position. So long that he’s happy, that’s all he cares about and so far he’s been pretty happy thus far. |

Wildclaws galore! And out of all of them, Leon takes the cake. I really love dark, creepy wildclaws. His fire eyes pops out too, which looks really cool!

I feel like algae and umber are colors that don't get a lot of love, especially not together, but his colors with dat accent are striking!
