3-7-15: Born to a Shadow Clan, she came to Arcane to find something different... and immediately settled right into the Clan. Within moments of her arrival, a Murktooth Bramblekeep came over to check her out. The friendship between them was instant, and complete.

Shortly after arriving, Aquamarine took her name to match the other Gems of the lair... and what a gem she is! The other Coatls are quite impressed with their new "sister" and have invited her to join their project....

6-7-15: Aquamarine has proven very popular with the Coatl project, with almost every male of the Coatl sect courting her for her paw….Overwhelmed by all the attention, she is taking her time, hoping to choose just the right dragon for her first mate….

6-9-15: Her Murktooth Bramblekeep has Awakened! Aquamarine is delighted at this new development. Perhaps he can help her choose her mate…

6-15-15: After much debate, Aquamarine finally settled on her first mate... and now she is babysitting her first egg! She and her chosen mate are a little disappointed that there is only one, but they have not let that interfere with their anticipation of the little one to be born.....

6-20-15: Aqua's first baby has hatched! She was delighted at his appearance, and fussed over him quite a bit. Sky, however, was restless, and soon left home for another Arcane Clan. Aquamarine wishes her little one well in his new home....

11-3-15: Perhaps Aqua should not have spent quite so much time visiting the Alchemists of the Clan.... She now has an extremely, er, friendly blob of Leftover Residue tagging along after her. Her Bramblekeep, fortunately, seems far more amused by this development than anything else, but Aqua is a little worried what this will mean for her future prospects for a mate. Perhaps she can get the little "guy" interested in someone else? Or at least convince him to stay in the caves.....

1-31-16: Much to Aqua's exasperation, convincing the Leftover Residue to tag after someone else has failed utterly. In fact, Aquamarine's feelings towards the blob have started to shift, and she finds herself not as... unhappy... that he is nearby. So perhaps it is no surprise that the Leftover Residue has now Awakened. Perhaps this odd friendship will work after all...

12-10-17: Almost a full year has gone by since Aquamarine last bonded with a familiar, and the Clan had about decided that she was not interested in any more friends joining her "family"--except, of course, for the special Shadow Familiars that appear from time to time. It seems, however, that Aqua was just waiting for the right moment....or perhaps for the right familiar to take notice of her. Or perhaps she simply took pity on a misplaced creature fleeing from the Clan's new Golden Gryphon. Whatever the case, when Aqua woke to find a King Parda curled up next to her in her nest, she immediately attempted to initiate a familiar bond--and it took! The King Parda seems very happy with this new arrangement, and Aqua's Bear and the Leftover Residue—which seems to have decided that its name is “Blob,” much to Aqua’s chagrin--both seem satisfied as well...

2-25-18: Aqua decided to journey back to the Tanglewood for the Trickmurk Circus this year, and ended up having her fortune told by a nice dragon named Allium. ( ) She isn't really sure what the results will be yet, as she literally closed her eyes, focused on her stone, and then jabbed her claw at one of the symbols without knowing which one (it was "Spiral,") but she is eager to find out...

3-15-18: The King Parda has Awakened! Aquamarine is thrilled for her friend...and even more thrilled that he seems have recovered from his fear, and is no longer trying to burrow under her wing at night...

10-2-18: Aquamarine is a bit flustered today. She had gone into the hoard to look for a new focus stone--and ended up finding a nice necklace with her "secondary" stone (lapis lazuli) to tide her over until she finds a proper aquamarine stone--and accidentally tripped over a pile of arcane crystals. Stumbling forward, she flipped head over tail into a hidden pool, where she was accosted by an overly friendly fish. It took her several minutes to clamber back out, and by the time she had done so, the young, over-eager Depin had initiated a familiar bond with her! Aqua has no idea what she is going to do now, but one thing is certain: telling this new member of her "family" to go away is not working at all. At least the rest of the "family" don't seem to mind this unexpected addition. Blob is even experimenting with whether or not he can swim in the pool (he can't), and the King Parda seems to really like chatting with this new friend....

1-9-19: The Depin has refused to leave, no matter what Aqua tries to do, and now the stubborn fish has Awakened! At least now he might be able to better defend himself against the other Coatls of the Clan...

6-7-19: Lately a tide of magical energy has been sweeping the Clan, causing quite a few magic auras to appear in the visible spectrum, on both dragons who were expecting it, and those who were not. Aqaumarine was not really surprised when the Fathomseach Halo appeared around her own head, accompanied by the Shady Emblem, as she had noticed such appearances on a number of her Coatl “siblings” right after they had been playing with their magic. She is far more interested in the new Ghost Flame Tail Ribbon she has recently discovered works quite well to hold her newest, extremely powerful, Focus Stone. Now she can really start playing with her learned Water Magic, and her native Shadow Magic without worrying about so many limitations…

1-30-20: Having grown restless in the Lair, Aqua has decided to try her luck at an Event in the Crystalline Gala this year, and entered herself into the Random Draw to determine the members of the Ice Hockey Team for the Sornieth Winter Games. Much to her delight, she was chosen as the Goaltender! ( ) Hopefully she will be able to play well…

2-2-20: The time of the ice was intense, though fun, and Aquamrine is now relaxing, and helping the Clan to break camp, as she waits for her results with the rest of the team... ( )

2-7-20: Aqua did play well, reasonably speaking, but other, more experienced teams played better. The team was overwhelmed in the third round, and ended up finishing in the middle of the lists. Still, it was not a complete disaster, as they did not finish in last place. Perhaps the team will do better next year…
4-20-20: It has been a while since Aquamarine attracted a new familiar to her, and she has never been able to find a “special” familiar that fit her particular dual magic of Shadow and Water. It seems, however, that she simply had to wait for the right familiar to come along…and grow interested enough in the Clan to want to make a bond. After over a year of watching from a distance, the Wary Murkmirth Ambassador has decided to give Aqua a trial run…and he even likes using Shadow Magic to do fortune telling! Admittedly, his Tarot Cards are not exactly the Divination tool that Aqua’s Water Magic affinity usually resonates to, but she’s sure she’ll get better with practice. Lots, and lots of practice…

7-22-20: Aquamarine is still having trouble reading cards, but she is hopeful that she will get it soon. Especially since “Shadoa,” her Murkmirth Ambassador friend, has finally Awakened at last. Now he will be able to better instruct her in how to channel her magic through Tarot, and perhaps she will be able to truly predict something at last…
