The Archivist
Record keeper and organiser for the clan. Archive: A Collection of Historical Documents or Records One of three male Skydancers ranked in the third tier of the clan hierarchy, below only Chaos and Maelstrom, Eurus holds a position of considerable power. He is primarily responsible for record keeping, archiving, and organisation within the clan. He oversees the deployment and discipline of the clan's food gatherers, keeps and maintains all relevant records for the clan on everything from hoarded items to food stores to history, and has joint control with the Warlord over the Seer and the Engineer, and their underlings, with Eurus' role focused on the peace-related aspects of these roles.

Familiar Harvest Floracat Alignment Neutral Good Originated Mirrorlight Promenade, frequent visitor of the Gladeveins Eurus, named for the unlucky East wind, is the only surviving Skydancer from an original quartet known as the Anemoi, brought into the Avarice clan in the role of scouts. Aquilon, the North wind, and Zephyrus, the West wind, were both killed on scouting missions over the years of their service in the Avarice clan. Auster, the South wind, was captured by another, violent clan - one Avarice deemed to powerful to steal her back from. Only Eurus remains, and he is no longer scouting either - he has been with this clan for a long time, and worked his way up to the much higher and more important role of Archivist. This elegant Light dragon was raised between the Mirrorlight Promenade and territories in Nature, especially the Gladeveins, and his allegiance is to both elements. Vain, aloof, and haunted by the deaths of the other Anemoi, he is not a particularly popular dragon within the clan, and has taken no mate since the loss of Zephyrus. You don't gain power within the Avarice clan without deserving it though, and he has a good head for organisation and record-keeping. A near-eidetic memory serves him well in this role, and he can most often be found in the clan Library, his harvest cat curled nearby, quietly working on his records. Ask Eurus almost any question about the clan's history, stores, and needs, and he'll have the answer. Mind you, he dislikes interruptions and finds stupid questions tedious, so dragons have learned to be careful about what they ask, and when. Steeped in the history of his upbringing and the grief of his loss of the Anemoi, Eurus is not a very happy dragon. He finds some solace in work, however, and is unshakably committed to living out his days with the Avarice clan. Required for Completion: Art |
