Epiloge Greetings! My name is Yeraina, but dragons often call me Shale. I used to be the guardian and bodyguard of my former clans leader. My closest friend was a mirror named Cinnamon, I helped him get out of trouble a lot. He and a dragon called Buckbeak were always doing something to wreck the lair. A while back they set a trap that set of a pack of shadow wolfs. And the latest prank they played... Don't even ask... Things are different now though, our clan was dissolved. Most of my clan members have gone off to serve the Shadowbinder, even Cinnamon believe it or not. Part of me wanted to join them, but a bigger part wasn't ready to give up my charge and my duty as a guardian. So I parted with my clan, ready to follow my calling and travel Sornieth in search of a new charge! The Travels So without looking back at the empty lair that had once been my home, I set off towards the Windswept plateau. The Wind Flight are known for their love of traveling and I figured that's where I needed to go to get started. I got lost a time or two on the way but I finally found myself in Ophias clan. The lair was quite crowded but they were welcoming nonetheless. I stayed there for a short while, but was eager to get going. Away on my great adventure. I had given up the pride of exaltation for my private dream of wandering, so wander I did. A great breeze blew, and I followed it as far across the continent as I could go until I landed in the northeastern corner of the Viridian Labyrinth. I met a clan of nature dragons that - alas! - was in the process of exaltation for the greater good. Feeling pressured to join, I knew it was time to flee. The southern winds took me quite a ways away to the Snowsquall Tundra. The beautiful expanse of snow was a nice change from the abundant greenery I had seen in the Virdian Labyrinth. The peculiar troope of dragons that resided here had a marvelous collection of all things interesting (and some not) that kept me entertained for quite a while. I stayed there for many weeks, perusing their library and studying their maps to decide where next to go on my journey. Things started to get a little cramped and cold here, so I decided that it was time to make my exit. The dragons that I had met here were very kind and very generous, and I hope that I can visit them again. She stopped briefly at Fishspine Reef, but soon decided she shined just a little to much. All the hatchlings kept tagging after her wanting to touch her sparkling hide. It was fine for awhile, but it soon got on her nerves. Soon after, she wandered into the expanses of Carrion Canyon. The region is known to be dry and dangerous, but she was able to stumble upon a medium-sized den. Among the dragons living there, she found tons of amazing personalities. Dragons of every kind had settled here, and their colors and genes were as diverse as any she'd seen so far! Although the community was great, platinum felt herself being called to another place. After a quick lunch, she set off on her journey once again. Deep in the Foxfire Bramble I came across a sprawling tangled lair of massive halls and spiraling amber chambers. Here I found friendship and learned many new things. I became close with a Guardian named Grelk, whose beard was among the most magnificent I have ever seen. He stood still and proud like a statue and spoke with a growling rumble like rocks sliding over slate. He taught me many riddles and we exchanged many stories in the endless night. I can't wait to trade them for more as I move on from the Tangled Wood. Next she went back to Fishspine Reef where she met a handsome Imp. They shared a nest and had 3 hatchlings. The lair however was in a great upheavel of dragons coming and going and it wasn't a place that she wanted to stay. So off again she went. There was hardly a place for a non-magenta dragon in the MANIFICENT MANCAVE OF MANLY MANGENTA MANS, and she stayed barely a day as a result; there was only so much flexing and mustache trimming a fine lady like Platinum could take! However, during that short time, she got into several scrapes with the boisterous dragons of the clan, and came out much stronger. ...Strong enough, perhaps, to go home at long last. Homecoming |
