Biography
I would have never guessed how coveted she would become...
Scheduled nests: SilverNW, AWB, elfmoss
Pure Imperial g2 pinglist: CatchyEarwyrm19
Mate: DracoSol
Clan Rank: Divine Channel
History: Her egg was found abandoned in a rare expedition to the very edges of Wind Flight territory along the border of the Zephyr Steppes and Water Flight territory. The egg was brought back to an incubating nest and cared for. When she hatched, the Clan Matriarch realized Luna was something rare indeed. News had been coming in from all across the world of the return of the Lightweaver's divine offspring.
As Luna grew, she began to hear whispers and see ghostly visions of terrifying struggle and darkness. Soon, she became convinced she was going mad and fled from her clan for fear of hurting them unknowingly. As she flew higher and farther, trying to outpace her madness, she was overtaken by a great wind current and carried along like a leaf. The wind took her to the Windsinger, who coiled among the heavens. It was the Windsinger who explained that she could hear the voices of the Eleven deities and that her visions were of the distant past. For three days and three nights, he poured knowledge into her, shaping her into a Divine Channel. She could serve as a mouth for the gods and could tell the truth of past events. At the end of the teaching, the Windsinger bestowed his blessing upon her. She understood that he thought of the Lightweaver as his child, and as a daughter of Light, he thought of her as his child too. She returned to her clan changed and began to work with those who had a penchant for recording things. The gods did not speak through her and she worked only to set down the truth of the past.
A Guardian named Sol joined their clan and became enamored with her. He would compose poems to her beauty and bring her gifts every day. She came to admire his devotion and his poetic spirit and when he petitioned to be her mate, she agreed. When their bonding rite was completed, a gust seized Sol and carried him away. The Windsinger spoke through Luna then and declared that Sol had shown himself equal in spirit to Luna and deserved to be equal in form. When the wind died down, an Imperial came spiraling out of the sky and Luna knew it to be her mate. They have been devoted to each other ever since and have worked to create diverse bloodlines to rebuild the Imperial breed.
