Pillow

Clan Matriarch and Guard
Guardian of the Mutating Ice clan. Her hulking body can often be found patrolling the howling cave system around the Mutating Ice clan. Ice and plague forever war within her body.

"You don't belong here. Lost, but now found. Follow and let me finish my patrol and I shall head back to civilization and warmth"

Pillow was the dragon that created the nest here in the frigid flows. She had beautiful gold and green coloring, and from the start was bonded with Pipseed the fae dragon. Her first festival was the Riot of Rot and unfortunately she got over confident in her fighting abilities and wandered too far into plaguelands. She got infected and became more and more sick. Pillow fought the infection with stubbornness and ice, but to no avail. As the rot reached her brain, she shackled herself in the depths of the earth underneath the frigid flows. Even as Pillow fought the infection, Pipseed embraced it. He became a master infectionist and was able to save Pillow from death. He is the one that summoned the Plague sprite that now follows Pillow around to keep the infection from getting out of hand. Pillow sees herself as a monster, and has fits of aggression that she blames on the infection, but some think these fits are more due to her mental and physical traumas. Still, she is very loyal and protective of the clan.

Although she used to see Pipseed as a weakling due to his small stature and lack of fighting ability, and thought that it was her duty to protect him from every hardship, she now sees his aversion to strife a choice and respects his strong will and intelligence. Although she is stubborn, she will defer to Pipseed if he ever presses his point because she generally sees him as the smarter, more rational part of the pair. Fae are much smaller than guardians, and pipseed actually lives and manipulates magiks on pillow much like other faes do with their environments.

When not out guarding the Mutating Ice clan, Pillow can sometimes be found helping Pipseed manage the Facimile Wrymwound at the heart of the clan. She finds this task extremely unpleasant, but knows that her large form can do many tasks that Pipseed is unable to do.
