"Hmm."
Auraelius is stoic yet fierce- while he can normally be found reading or meditating, he is not afraid of a fight, and will jump up as soon as he senses ill will. However, his unusually large size is one that other dragons tend to avoid, so he spends most of his days alone or with his mate, Serendipity. They compliment each other perfectly; she seems to be the only one who can make him smile, and he, in turn, will reel her in if he senses the others of the clan growing weary of her boundless energy.

The one thing he hates above all else is his own lack of ability to fly. Auraelius's wingspan is barely half his body length, ensuring that he will never be able to get off of the ground. He can't help but feel a pang of jealousy whenever he sees others in the air. If the others notice, they don't comment on it.

The smell of old books, the warm lit fireplace, the faint marks of ink on the desk. The distant chatter, the morning corvid creatures squawking in the forest. The flowers have finally sprouted and the harsh winter has left. You travel far, your wings too small to bare your gentle body, in search of books. Your collection grows like the flowers in the spring, starting small and increasing in size over time. The latter acknowledges your strength in mind, your soft-spoken words tell tales of your long life.
