He was betrayed and left to die, it was a miracle they’d managed to find him in time. His own brother... He can barely stand to think about it. Apparently he’d feared being tossed aside, their father’s blasted Plague nature making him paranoid as the smallest of their clutch. So he thought if he acted first... Their sister was safe under the lightweaver’s eye, but he hadn’t been. He was on the edge of death for days and even now he’s only just been pulled from the ledge. The clan healer’s had all but dropped of exhaustion and there was always someone with him in case he took a turn for the worse. If he wasn’t exhausted to his bones and grieving he would have thanked them a thousand times over. But for now he just lays there on the edge of unconsciousness while pondering what he will do with himself now.

The lair he was in wasn’t big enough for him to stay long and while he could stay long enough for a den to be built for him he was already imposing. He’d leave when he was strong enough, which wouldn’t be for a while yet. He was proficient with magic due to his Arcane mother with a Shadow’s love for games of any kind. Because of her he had a bit of a competitive streak when it came to magic but he never felt the need to push for a win unless he was extremely insulted. He’s also been known to give small magic favors to anyone who gives him Duskrats since they’re his favorite food.
