Kaos

The son of CrackofDawn and NightBreath, Kaos loves to make other dragons happy.

He is the leader of the Clan's Iron Knights. The Iron Knights protect the honor of the Clan, acting almost as police do. They protect the weaker and innocent from the claws of the stronger and the guilty. The Iron Knights are incapable of becoming corrupt, for honor is far too precious to them. They are close in likeliness to the Alabaster Knights because of this, as they would turn against the Royal Family if it meant protecting those who need protecting.

Kaos was once close friends with the Burnished Royal Guard leader, Narcissus. In their youth, they were well known as the Clan's closest duo, their friendship unbreakable. That is, until the Clan's way of life started to change. Even in their early years as knights in different factions, Narcissus and Kaos had managed to stay close. But when the democracy began to change to a monarchy, the two found themselves at odds. Narcissus strongly believed that their progenitors knew what was best for the Clan, and that everything they did was for good. Kaos strongly believed himself that they had succumbed to greed and fear, pushing themselves higher up on their pedestals so as to appear strong and unbeatable, a force to be reckoned with and left unchallenged. Months passed by, and though in the beginning they had agreed to disagree, that arrangement quickly began to fade away. Neither could ignore the actions of the other, and they finally ended their years-old friendship. Though neither would ever admit it to the other, they both yearn for and miss the days when they were thick as thieves.

When the eggs were stolen, and dragons began to look to their own clanmates for traitors, those loyal to the Empress and Emperor started to suspect Kaos as one of, or even the, traitor. He of course denies this, and makes sure not to say the wrong things around the wrong dragons on the subject. Despite how he makes it well known that he disagrees with the ways of the Empress and Emperor, Narcissus does not suspect Kaos. Even though some of his own subordinates insist on the idea, Narcissus will do nothing to provoke Kaos. Kaos does not know if this is because Narcissus truly believes Kaos's innocence, or if it is a small way of letting him know that he still cares about the bond they once shared.
