One of the oldest and most experienced dragons in the clan, Bul is a grumpy old lady. It isn’t wise to anger her: she might be good-natured and wise but has the fiery temper of a Fire and when she grows annoyed at something the environment usually starts to set itself on fire.

Bul’s way to the clan was not an easy one. When her Charge, a big oval fire opal, was found to be a nearly depleted magic reservoir stone she had to find her way to the Isles before it sapped her dry of mana. To be honest, without Nimor’s help and knowledge Bul probably would have perished of her own bullheadedness. During the travel the two grew close and by the time they were at the Isles they had bonded.

Bul’s main occupation in the clan is as its Battle Commander and Weaponsmaster. She used to be the main fighting mentor in the lair, but has now passed the title to others and takes students only occasionally. And runs surprise drills when she feels like it, of course.

At Ashfall Waste Bul grew up learning smithing and metal-craft, and she has not forgotten the skills she worked so hard for as a youngling. As a hobby and a secondary task Bul works as a smith, crafting armour, weapons and all assorted items for her clanmates. She hammers in both Fire and Arcane magics, passing the pieces to other crafters and mages to finish.

Bul knows every single dragon in the clan: she has trained or at least tested all of them. In addition to her numerous students, offspring and her mate, she is good friends with Sirreth and the other elders, leading and directing the clan from her position in the Council. It isn’t rare to see her in the Great Hall, playing chess with Borean while the younglings and smaller dragons use her as a perch.

Bul is a front line fighter, leading and commanding from the very tip of the force. Wreathed in flames, armoured in metal, magic, and her own sturdy scales she is a sight to see. She is good enough to keep her clan safe, and that is all that matters to her.
