Glaucus is the most well known oracle of Clan Abyss. His story, although widely considered a myth of the Water flight, has turned him into something of a local legend in the open sea. Glaucus claims that one pivotal day searching for food in the Fishspine Reef had lead him to a small batch of glossy, shining seaweed growing among the reeds and corals. Upon eating it, he had been blessed with the Tidelord's power of divine fortune, allowing him to predict small revelations of what is to come or of what might become. It is a skill that he constantly hones, causing the clan to regard him to be just as strong as Tau, but more precise and accurate in terms of relevancy. Many have gone out searching for this seaweed of folklore but so far there have been no other sightings of it.
