Quote:
Delta is a cynical rabble-rouser, always looking for trouble. She started early; among the young hatchlings of clan, she was the first to initiate games--but also the first to cheat, to lie, and to redefine the rules. "What use are rules, anyway?" she was known to cry even before she lost her egg-tooth (so she actually lisped, "What uthe are rulth anyway?" but this was ignored in the face of her open defiance). "I'll go somewhere else where I don't have to listen to your stupid rules!"
Delta thus stamped her way out of her natal clan and Plague's territory altogether. She stamped her way across Sornieth, her small size leading many to offer her aid and support--support she accepted, playing up her puppylike charm until she grew big enough to hunt on her own. Then, she cut a bloody swathe across the world, leaving only bones in her wake. Yet it is not in the nature of Mirrors to be solitary dragons, and Delta was beset by a yearning for companionship that she tried and failed to deny. Thus, when she happened across some members of a Water clan out on a hunt, she tried to ease herself into their company. "You need someone familiar with this area if you want to find the best game," she said (lied). "You'll need the extra help." These strange dragons were both polite and a bit overwhelmed by her aggressive friendliness, and so acceded to her persuasion. Luck moved in Delta's favor, and she indeed led them to find a rich source of game, and her aid in the hunt prevented one of the strange dragons from receiving a grievous injury. "Why don't you come back to our clan and guest with us in thanks?" they asked, and so Delta did. Ever since then she has refused to leave, despite not being too fond of water. But she has come to realize that a home is a great treasure, and even if she's not a Guardian, she'll hold on to what she has now with tooth and claw. Bio by Merellia
