The clan's alchemist, Hecate was formerly an apprentice of Baldwin's. Knowing he had many other students to teach, she threw herself hard into her studies and has since left Baldwin to study on her own, as there is only so much such a busy dragon can teach. Her calmness and quick mind lent well to her brief apprenticeship, and while she knows she still has much to learn, she's fine learning on her own through self study.

However, due to an incident with her first attempt at alchemy that left her as a living glass figurine, she still hasn't managed to avoid wincing whenever she puts something new in the cauldron. She doesn't mind it, but it can be a little annoying sometimes. Thankfully, she isn't nearly as fragile as she looks. She's actually very durable due to being living glass instead of actual glass. There's a surprising difference.

A more recent incident left the last outwardly organic parts of her body, her claws, glowing a soft gold. That annoys her far more than she'd like to admit, but she supposes it's just the hazards of being an alchemist.

Hecate's lab-slash-shop is almost always busy, especially during Flight holidays, where she's tasked with brewing currency to buy whatever the sales-Mirror, Joxar is selling that month. It's a little annoying as it doesn't give her much time for study, but with her familiar, Angel helping, she's a little bit more at ease. Truly, the day the battle crew came home with the Living Sculpture in tow was a blessing. It was given to her almost instantly, and though they didn't trust each other at first, they soon warmed up to each other in a comfortable partnership, Angel becoming her lab assistant and starting the majority of the simple brewings while Hecate has her nose buried in her books.
