The Construct

Creation

Yuseph is one of the early results in Minstri attempts to create a powerful Construct in her image. However, at the time of his creation, he was still flawed. The blood used had pooled in his belly, so his claws and tail remained solid bone. This resulted in a lack of dexterity in his hands - but the blood in his core and wings made him exceptionally graceful in the air.

Still he was considered a great success in the march towards perfection. Far more so than his brother, Neuseph. With a little extra care from a skilled Artisan, Yuseph was to be made an exemplary specimen, but not for quite some time.

Yuseph and his brother were created using a a pair of Spiral Skulls found abandoned in the Boneyard. The rest of skeletons were not intact, and the bones were intermixed, but what remained was incorporated into the two bodies. Neither dragon could remember anything about their lives before the resurrection, and were thus taken in as whelps by the clan, and raised, taught, and trained anew.

Windblessed

Yuseph was born during the Mistral Jamboree and has a strong affinity for elemental wind. Since his birth, he has loved to be in the air. His tireless body allowing him to stay on the wing for days at a time. Being brought to ground is uncomfortable and unsettling for him, as he has a great deal of difficulty walking, and is unable to defend himself effectively on the ground. However, few are the dragons who can inflict such on him, and he is almost without match in the air.

He speed and tirelessness makes him an able messenger and courier for the clan. He is especially useful during times of conflict, as his agility and master of winds allow him to move easily in or out of combat areas with ease.

Bloodfang Manifest

As Yuseph become older, and Minstri continued to work magics over him, He developed strange features. Shards of bone hardened and stuck out from his body, and formed bridges and gaps across his belly.

Yuseph only rarely found himself in combat, but when he did, his sole weapon of use were his jaws - as his claws and tail might have been dangerous, but they were far to stiff and clumsy to use with much effectiveness. Minstri, Verthandi, and perhaps some wild unknown manifestation of magic changed this. In the blood of his belly there hid more than a dozen, toothy maws of razor teeth.

Yuseph had never particularly disliked fighting, he only preferred to play to his strengths, and that was to be untouchable in the air. With his maturation, however, he became a force of his own, skilled at chasing down and catching prey and enemies that thought to escape into the air. Himself like a living bola could ensnare, then bite and tare, draining out the blood of his prey directly into his own reserves.

Considerable power aside, Yuseph still prefers more peaceful pastimes, when he can have them.

True Formed

With the arrival of Egeria, research into Shattered Constructs was renewed, and Yuseph's body was taken apart and reformed into a True Shattered Construct. He is no less nimble for his new body, and the gaping maws across his belly reformed shortly after his rebirth.

With these improvements, he was promoted from messenger and courier to combat scout.

Notes: In spite of his frightful appearance, Yuseph is, like Eideif, one of the kinder dragons in the clan. He is very friendly and enjoys meeting new creatures and dragons, and will set to talking with or at them ceaselessly with his many mouths.
