Fern is, or more like was one of the oldest members of the Guild. She was there from the beginning and helped it grow. She wrote many songs of those days and sang them all around Sornieth. Telling about the epic battles and adventures the Guild members had gone through. But now, those songs have changed to haunting melodies that echo around the Keep.

It happened during a dangerous mission against ice wrath, in the ancient den of gaolers. The tribe had requested aid to destroy those creatures and Fern belonged to the group who went to help them. It started well but suddenly everything went wrong.

The ice cavern collapsed due to mysterious tremors and caused the gaolers and the party to get trapped in the ancient dungeons. And little by little things just turned worse for everyone as they ventured deeper to the tomb to find their way out.

Only Fern came out, but she was possessed by disturbed ice spirits. Fern returned to the Guild and attacked it, but she was quickly contained and dragged screaming to the Keep. There were many attempts to undo the possession, but the ice wraths were too strong. Her student Azrael took it the worst, but he still comes to visit and listen to his old mentor's haunting songs.
