Odahviing has followed Felkestmaar for a long time. He knew her when she was still a mortal. He witnessed her change into a dragon and was pleased when she chose to fly away with him. Odahviing and Felkestmaar share a strange bond beyond that of a normal couple, but less so than a couple who has been soulbound. Due to Felkestmaar once being mortal, they can never actually be soulbound. However, souldbinding isnt something either of the two would want in their relationship anyways.

Odahviing is a rather headstrong dragon who was once the master of the skies, and free to roam on his own. However, when Amarante (as his mate was once called) shouted his true name to the heavens, he felt a tug on his heartstrings. He descended to the challenge, and she outwitted him, capturing him in a trap. From the first moment he met her, he could never deny the strange sexual tension that surged between the two of them, as her dragon soul intrigued him. As a young dragon, this was a very confusing time for Odahviing and he refused to believe he was attracted to a mortal, something strictly forbidden and frowned upon by all other dragons. He denied his feelings for Amarante until she shouted her true name to the sky after Paarthurnax's death. When he heard her true name, he new he would never love another, as painful, forbidden, and awkward as that might be.

When she finally became a dragon, Odahviing rejoiced, and called her to the skies, and the two have been inseparable ever since. Odahviing is rather overprotective of Felkestmaar and will become violent if other male dragons attempt to approach her.. Felkestmaar is his love.. and he wont let anyone else have her.
