B I O G R A P H Y

It seemed like a hundred years had passed trapped in a collapsed ship under the sea. Noting but cold water filled with the rotting remains of his crew and the thundering sound of silence kept him company as he waited for a miracle. His wings were tatters and he had lost sight completely in his left eye. There came a time when he prayed to the Tidelord to send a behemoth to devour him and the ship so that he could rest. Yet all the while, he maintained a spark of life, living on the pure essence of the water that had become his home and surely his grave.

An eternity later he felt his prayers may finally be answered as the hull of the sip was torn apart. He looked up; bleary-eyed, expecting to see teeth instead he saw light. Out of the light swam a feisty looking mirror with a sword clamped between his teeth. Behind the mirror came to large deep blue imperials and together they managed to release him. They hauled him up to their ship and set off for home.

Aeonus spent many weeks in the infirmary recovering. Yet no matter how they tried, he started to wither away. Ellaria did not intend to lose him after he managed to live so long. She spoke to the clan’s soul Panthera and learned that Aeonus needed the magic from the sea to sustain him now. She had some of the other medics help her take the weak skydancer down to the coast and tended him there.

He recovered, yet he had been changed drastically. His one smooth obsidian body was pale and marked with shadowy splotches and his wings had lost their vibrant purple hue. The medics refer to him as a Fallen One. He no longer can live off the foods of a normal dragon. Instead, he requires the essence of his element.

Aeonus joined Clan Mythweaver and serves under Captain Fahrad as his first mate. They are inseparable most times bound by a deep friendship. When home he settles down with is now mate, Ellaria. He regrets not being able to be with her as much as they would like, but she understands now and always the sea is his life.
