At the very start of Caeleste's lair, Prince was saved as a hatchling from being exalted. He was one of the first dragons to live in Caeleste's lair. That's how he became known as the Prince of the clan and he decided that's the name he would go by. Prince can come across as a little cocky sometimes, but he has his heart at the right place. He was one of the dragons to make the big move from the Southern Icefields to their new lair in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Apart from that he's never left his safe lair. Since he is the prince and one of the first inhabitors of his lair he's trained a little with the best warriors of his clan, to defend his lair if needed. Prince decided it was time to gain more knowledge of the world around him and that's what drove him to start his journey.

When Prince showed up on the doorstep, he was tired and needed a place to rest. He had been searching for a place to stay for a while, and was running low on supplies. He decided to try Moonbeams' Lair, because the dragons there were apparently very friendly. They had one nest left, but they took Prince in because he was only visiting for a week or two. Thankfully, Prince was polite, and did not demand anything more than the simple, homely nest he was given. He plans on moving on eventually, once he gets over the loss of Caeleste's lair, his original home. It turns out it was destroyed by a dragon who wanted to take over. He decided to make Moonbeams' lair his new home.

Soon after Prince left Moonbeams' lair, he was ambushed by a troupe of warrior dragons who were off on their daily walk to destroy anything in their path. Unfortunately, Prince happened to be in the way, and if it hadn't been for his quick wit and charm, he would've been killed for sure. As it was, however, Prince found favor with the tribe's leader, Snowfox, a Guardian who hated any injustice. With the help of Snowfox, her clan, and another traveling dragon named Zonec, some light was shed upon the uprising that had destroyed his home. In the ruins of the lair, they found strange weapons only used by the Beastclans... Could it be that whoever stormed Caeleste's lair was working with the Beastclans?
