Obsiendri

Friendly. Adventurous. Protective.

Personality:
Friendly, adventurous, protective of those he cares for. Due to his fae origin, Obsiendri is able to understand the emotions that fae dragons relay by using their expressive neck crests. Though not quite the same thing, when he speaks with faes he uses the feathers on his neck very similarly to how fae communicate with their crests. This has made understanding him a lot easier for faes who are not familiar with the shifts in tones and body languages on other dragon species.

History:
Obsiendri, still a fae at the time, was just passing by when he spotted Solara clearing out space for her own lair. Curious of what the other fae was doing, he decided to postpone his adventure and find out who she was. One thing led to another, and the two decided to stick together. He has not returned to his travels since, though for the time being he gladly operates as the clan's messenger.

Some time after the clan had grown and established their home, Obsiendri agreed to help Crythanya, the clan's cry mage, in some magical experiments. Crythanya warned that she was not sure what would happen if they tried reciting the scroll some of the clan's hunters had found. Obsiendri suggested looking examining the scroll a bit more closely at first, and together the two were able to decipher some of the scrolls content. They found out that the scroll would change the breed of the one that recites it out loud. Curious of how this would work, and what the result woudl be, Obsiendri volunteered. Crythanya was a bit suspicious, unsure of what the other clan members would say, but Obsiendri simply waved off her worries and said it was his decision, and that they would respect it. And so he took the scroll, read the spell aloud, and was transformed into a coatl.

The change of breed has made delivering messages a lot easier. Obsiendri is very pleased with his breed change, as he can now express himself even better when communicating with other dragons, and is able to fly longer distances without as many stops.

Almost a year after his breed change, Crythanya approached Obsiendri once again. This time she had gotten hold of a strange crystal that had fallen from the sky (or so she claimed), and flickered with a multitude of colours and, occasionally, emitted bursts of energy. She wanted Obsiendri's help in studying it. In the end her experimentation was successful and she determined that the crystal was mostly harmless. It had the rather unfortunate side effect of changing the colouration of the dragon standing closest to it when Arcane energy was poured into the crystal.

As a result, Obsiendri found himself sporting new colours and new markings - a fact that he found greatly amusing as now no one in the lair knows who he is at first glance.
