Verity is one of the clan leaders, and the one that led to the clan's formation by journeying to the new land. She has a gift of Vision that amplifies the closer it is to a flame, with visions at her strongest on entering the fire itself. It is likely these visions are what led her to leave her home clan to form this new one, but the fae has, so far, not seen fit to explain her reasons in depth for the clan's formation. There is a popular rumour that Verity is unable to lie due to a magical quirk of some sort. While the rumour is unconfirmed, it is equally possible that Verity simply has no reason to lie. She tends to speak in very direct, strange ways, and often will give a question she feels is unnecessary to answer nothing more than silence. Still, her visions have often led to prosperous decisions for the clan, so no one has any concerns about her leadership. |
