Fleur is not actually a proper member of Clan Ulalume, but she seems to think their territory and hers overlap, and that ownership of anything on their 'shared' land is also communal property that she can do with what she wishes.
Under normal circumstances, Laufey would have chased a thief like this off, or just killed them, but the fact that Fleur's 'sharing' goes both ways and Clan Ulaume is free to scavenge through her own personal hoard (full of alchemical products that no one else in the clan can easily produce) prevents them from being too upset about it.
Not that a fight with her would go far in the Laufey's favour if it were to be picked. Fleur has magical ability and cunning to spare, and her lack of brute strength hardly means anything when she seems to be able to see the future and manipulate the most abstract elements of the world to send any would-be attackers on along a circuitous journey of confusion and frustration.

Maeva
The Anomalous Skink Maeva is the product of Fleur's alchemical experimentation; the last in a long line of attempts at creating life from goo. Their two minds are both endlessly devoted to Fleur and only wish to be useful to her, even if their reasoning ranges from a fear of being dubbed 'imperfect' in the future and scrapped for parts again to genuine love for their mother. One is a bit queasy about the fact that they are made of their dead siblings' carcasses while the other is proud that they have succeeded where their previous iterations have failed. |
