Intoner of Mercy

The ruler of the Land of Sands and third Intoner sister. Her bright and cheerful personality allows her to befriend anyone, and she sets the tone for the Intoners. She is in love with a man and openly displays her affection for him regardless of the settings or situation, much to the annoyance of those around her.

I thought being a pair would allow us to survive. I mean, it was just like my name, you know? We were two then, and we would remain two forever.

Simply by holding hands, we could understand each other. I honestly believed there was nothing to fear. Our time was meant to be forever. Forever and ever. We were destined to keep this small life of ours secure. I heard the sound of something breaking deep within me. There is no going back. I heard the sound of all noise submerged in darkness as it faded into the distance...

Once upon a time, many moons ago... there was a young man and a beautiful Intoner. The Intoner was a boundlessly kind and cheerful young girl. And while her partner was not the most intelligent man... he truly did love her. This is the story of a certain couple... A couple that was deeply in love.

I am the happiest girl alive. You know why? Because... I am with the greatest man in the whole wide world!
I know. I know that happiness doesn't last forever. That's why... I want to love him right now with all my heart.

Throughout the endless war... the kind Intoner gathered up orphans across the land and cared for them. She didn't have any parents of her own... so she wanted to help others escape the misery that she herself had known. And through it all, her one true love was always at her side. This is the story of a certain couple... A couple that strove endlessly to support each other.

There are so many things that require protection... But there's a limit to how much can actually be protected. Such a simple concept... But back then, I was incapable of understanding.
Things that are precious, and things that are not. Things that mustn't break, and things that may. Tell me... Who has the right to decide such things?

By the end of the battle, the Intoner's spirit had been shattered. The broken shards fell deep into darkness... doomed never to return. This is the story of a couple deeply in love. The story of a foolish couple. The story... of a couple ruined beyond repair.
