Noctefuror, despite being born blind, bears the gift of sight. He is able to see into the future, and uses this gift for the benefit of his clan. His lack of eyesight is further compensated for by the hypersensitivity of his other senses, making him a keen fighter and challenging foe. Perhaps his only weakness is sunlight, which his blind eyes are sensitive to. It is for this reason that Noc is more active after dark, and finds solace in the shadows.

Noc was the first among his clan to be haunted by the Tantibus, though she did not haunt his dreams for very long because he was not afraid of her. When she emerged in her physical form, she appointed Noc as one of her personal confidants, impressed by his lack of fear and his useful foresight.
