Biography
Goliath danced across the stage. It was his home, his life, his love. The one thing that made him truly happy. He didn't need much to be happy. A good tavern, an adoring audience, some food at the end of one of his stunning performances...And a bed so he could rest before moving on or doing the next performance. He moved fluidly, years of practice leading up to every piece of perfection he needed to stun his audience into the roaring applause he always got. So long had he pained himself over his practice, and it had paid off wonderfully. His life was perfect.
Goliath enjoyed dancing almost as much as Charlie enjoyed singing. But neither of them enjoyed either activity so much as both together. While Goliath was much smaller than his aviar companion, they danced surprisingly well together. Nothing that would win an award, nothing at all compared to the nocturne's solo performances, but well enough. Goliath usually let Charlie lead, for she sang while they danced so she set the pace. She flowed well, steps smooth and clean, and he was happy to glide along in her wake.
When they moved close together, his green scales reflected her bright blue, creating the illusion of light between them. Goliath would love to take that light to the stage, but Charlie is far too shy of crowds for that to ever happen.
