Brambles

Backstory
Brambles was born to a peaceful nature clan deep in the Everbloom Gardens. His young life was so peaceful it was strange when he was sent to another clan while he was still a hatchling. It was his mother Peony's idea to send him to the young wind clan to live. He, at first, thought it was so amazing he was chosen to live somewhere so new. Yet when he arrived at his new home he felt so bare without the forest canopy to cover him, there were only playful winds to protect him.

His only solace was the massive willow the clan lived under. He would often climb high into the branches to look for the Behemoth. Given the willow’s placement by the sea seldom could he actually see the tree of his homeland. When he did he would not come down for days until it vanished again. The clans founder Delinda would often come to visit him brings a fish and a smile. Brambles knew he worried the clan below, but he was so homesick.

In an attempt to get him comfortable Delinda asked if he would be willing to train as a healer. At first, he thought healing was not an ability he possessed. Yet as he thought about it, he almost felt the call to heal in his bones. So he took to offer and shortly started to train under Opium the clans hunter and makeshift healer. Much to the young Coatl's surprise, he learned he had powerful healing magic in his veins. Soon he surpassed his teacher but he still felt like an outsider in his own clan.

It took his mate Penelope joining the clan to truly get him out of his shell. The blind Coatl was the one who helped him finish opening up to the rest of the clan. Soon he found himself on the council and the full-time clan healer. To him, it felt like he could focus on the world and soon he was able to connect with everyone. He since that time has been an ever-present feature and council member.

When the clan was forced to separate from their sister clan and leave the Windswept Plateau. Brambles was tasked to find a place to grow the cutting Delinda was about to get from the slowly rotting tree. It was hard, one to find a good place an two his sister Jasmine's death weighed heavy on his mind. As he walked in the sun reached plains he found a waterfall overlooking the Tsunami Flats. Looking up, he saw the Behemoth and looking in the area the group found a temple.

Together they decided to grow the tree there but he would need powerful nature magic to get it to take root. So he left to the Veridian Labyrinth to commune with his deity and ask her for the power to help his new home. When he was able to find his goddess the old wyrm gave him her blessing and some of her power. As quickly as his legs and wings could carry him he returned to the group to grow their new home.

When the clan moved her found much like his clan mates, he was comfortable in the Sundial Ruins as well. His comfort comes from the fact he can see the Labyrinth and easily get there to pick his herbs and commune with nature. That and the temple was a great place for the clan to grow.

Yet there is still one thing that holds a dark place in his soul. He knows of his father's fate, but still wishes to know more. He heard that one of his siblings was in the Tangled Wood and has set his mind to go and meet Moss if not he fears he will never heal. He has also heard of her vengeful heart and his wishes to help his older sibling. Part of him worry about the fact she is infested with the shade and he prays that she will not fall like so many others have.

In a odd twist of fate he has recently been acting very strange...
