While journeying to the Pillar of the World in the Earth region of Dragonhome, the pure white Imperial leader of an Ice clan happened upon a strange niche among the craggy rocks. As she examined the worn and cracked carvings she nearly missed seeing the tiny Fae hatchling nestled up against a small carved tablet, so worn and cracked it is barely distinguishable from an ordinary rock. So tiny that he couldn't have been more than a few days old, she worried she would hurt him as she carefully picked him up and set him upon her back. Sleepily he opened his glittering chocolate eyes and blinked a few times, then with an adorable little yawn he curled up in her mane and resumed sleeping. After searching for the remaining hours before sunset, the Imperial concluded that there were no dragon clans living nearby, and decided that she would bring the little fellow to an allied clan, as her own clan's location was in such a harshly cold environment and quite a distance away. Among the scattered bones in the Abiding Boneyard a flash of green caught the Imperial's eye. With piqued curiosity the Imperial decided to have a look. Sitting alertly poking at some bone fragments was another tiny Fae that appeared the same age as the one on her back. Thinking that the two would make for an adorable pair of friends the Imperial gathered up the other little male and continued on her way. Shortly after the sun had set the amusing little trio arrived at the friendly wind clan's home. As the clan leader opened the door to an exasperated looking Imperial she couldn't help but laugh. Skittering across the Imperials back quite enthralled in their game were two energetic little Fae. The poor Imperial had been having constant heart attacks for the last half hour of her travel, fearing that the young Fae in their reckless game would fall from her back. Happily the Imperial handed the little ones over, already exhausted from watching over them. When the wind leader inquired as to their names she sadly replied that she did not know if they had any. The young earth Fae was the leader of the little pair and dashed off to explore the new place, the little green plague Fae quickly bounding after him and with a small gasp of concern for the sanity of her clan mates the wind leader took off after them. note: the plague Fae in the story is #13344114, believed to have originated from the same clan and been born on the same day as this nice boy. |
