As a true wildclaw, Noxia values power above knowledge in leadership. She is quick to defend her word with her actions and even quicker to defend her clan with her claws.
As a hatchling, Noxia was spotted by the ridgeback, StarryNight, and in her small body the older dragon could see endless potential. Aside from her natural tendency to appreciate strength, Noxia also had the intelligence and compassion to facilitate a well-rounded clan fighter. Because of this, she was taken under StarryNight's wing and shown the ropes of fighting in the mire. Through the many long weeks and months of work, Noxia's admiration for StarryNight only grew. By the time Noxia was ready to train dragons on her own, the pair had formed an intense friendship that would not easily be dissolved. Noxia and StarryNight frequently work together, and more often work apart to train new dragons in the way of the fighter.

Although Noxia is quite capable of taking over for the older ridgeback, StarryNight has not yet made any indication to step down from her lead position. The level of admiration Noxia feels for the other dragon conflicts with her wildclaw nature and she errs on the side of caution, not saying anything about her mentor's continued presence in the mire for fear of offending StarryNight. Instead, Noxia spends time with her mentor and best friend and enjoys what they have.

Where her mentor is concerned with the care of her fighters, Noxia is somewhat less careful. Many under her care have come back with wounds, much to StarryNight's consternation. Noxia doesn't do this on purpose and is entirely capable of taking a team into the mire on her own without losing a dragon. She has a wildclaw streak a mile wide and has to see what will happen if they're left on their own in a dangerous situation. It never gets out of hand as she is always within reach to prevent that, but she likes to test them the wildclaw way all the same, even if they're not the same breed as her.
