Biography

ALCHEMIST – HUNTRESS |FORTUNE TELLER| HOARDER

Renegade has a complicated past. Coming from the land of fire, she wasn’t quite expecting to settle in the frigid ice territory. No, her real reason for coming was to search for a cure.

From early on in her life Renegade took an interest in the art of alchemy and transmutation. Everything around her was perfectly balanced, perfectly constructed. She began experimenting in secret, and when the fighting with the beast clans came to a head Renegade offered her services as a healer and as an alchemist. Her talents took her far, but pride and ambitions quickly consumed Renegade.

She needed to prove herself; she had to be the best. Her drive became her downfall one fateful day. A single miscalculation resulted in an explosion that damaged her scales. Once a lovely and pure midnight, now her scales are marred by patches of dull gray rippled down her body. Renegade could barely stand to look at herself in the mirror, and never came out during the day out of shame.

Renegade tried many times to restore her glimmering coat, but found she could not undo the damage herself. Thus, her journey to find another who could restore her beauty began. That is how she found Sinister. He was conniving and manipulative—she could figure this much out the day they met. But after going for so long hating how she looked, any sweet word fed her pride little by little. Their relations started without thought nor much planning. Sinister did not present himself as someone willing to settle down with a family. She knew this. But even still, whatever slim chance there may be that she could bear an offspring with a shiny coat like his…

Renegade relies on the bones of both dragons and beasts in order to cast her spells and read fortunes. She has a substantial hoard hidden away within the twisted tree she and Sinister call home.
