Snowball came to the Glade to train the dragons that gather on the furthest reaches of the clan's territory. Mason and Pharaoh have paired with her to become a full fledged fighting team. She takes her position very seriously, much her mate's mild annoyance. Lotte is against fighting but understands that if no dragon has training they are set up to fail.

The young sun crept from behind the dew-stricken morning clouds. Bathing the cold ground, fragmenting crystals of ice and highlighting the skeletal shadows of bare trees, the new light awoke the surrounding landscape. It was still too early for movement, but for a dragon that never slept the day was long upon her. Snow shivered and quaked her wings to dust off the white powder from her near translucent hide. She has been waiting all night in her post, waiting for that perfect moment when the sun's rays penetrated the frigid air and wove around birch bark trees to hit her ice clad wings just right as to transcribe the carefully etched and stained patterns of the thin membranes onto the still white snow below her.
