▾ hepit is most frequently described as 'thorny', shortly followed by 'confusing'. she speaks laconically and gives little away with her body language, and will respond to most conversation either dismissively or with barbed questions that often kill any friendly mood before it takes off. she means well (or does she?) in that she doesn't wish harm upon any of her clanmates, if only because those relationships keep her fed and housed. but in her long and eventful life, she's grown quite jaded to her fellow dragons and is generally indifferent towards them. she resents the sensitivity she possesses as a skydancer, and frequently isolates herself to avoid being put on the spot. she sees her emotional intuition as 'invasive' to those around her, and is mistrustful of others who possess it.
▾ hepit was one of the first zephyr dancers to emerge from hiding when the subspecies began to venture out into the world. driven by restlessness and a desire for retaliation against the perceived threat of dragonkind, she spread her wings and took to the skies. in her travels, she's seen much and tried her claws at many trades, but always feels herself drawn back to the reedcleft ascent and the dense, dark bamboo forests she was born in, and always with a note of anger in her heart. her family instilled in her a caution for the outside world that borders on paranoia at times, and although it's kept her alive in many tight situations, it's also hardened her heart greatly. she was grateful when her clan uprooted to dragonhome, eager for the distance from her heritage. ▾ hepit doesn't mind dirty work, and possesses neither a weak stomach nor a strong moral compass. once she realized she was quite good at it, she began seeking work as a mercenary. she's lightning fast and can move with the agility and eerie silence of an owl through dense undergrowth, even mid-flight. she's sure-footed enough to sneak around wherever she pleases, and confident enough in her combat and strategic abilities to take on foes many times her size. from theft to death, there are few lines hepit won't cross. to keep her work separate from her incredibly private personal life, she takes these sorts of jobs under the name 'oriza'.
