"Night fury Pheonixs can create volcanic lightning, if a Volcanic eruption happens at the same time."

The rarest phenomenon called "The Awakening" happens once every 10,000 years.
It is a event in which the entire Phoenix population, gather together in one place, to be reborn.
They are entirely driven by the deepest magical instinct, that is how they find the location, and know when it will happen. Regardless of where they are in their life cycle, they set themselves ablaze, and are reborn during the awakening. This is only possible during the awakening. As they require a massive amount of magic to age themselves into the final blazing. The youngest always go first, because they need the flames from the older birds to help them age.

The First Awakening, happened during the Super Blue Blood Moon Eclipse, January 31, 2018.
The elemental magic was so strong during the event, that even hatchling's barely needed help blazing.

It is Tradition for each Phoenix, to bring a piece of wood, or stone from their homelands, to add to the Awakening Pyre. When the Awakening begins, the presence of the various elements in the woods and stones brought, are what create each of the variants of the Pheonix subspecies.


Sodium = Orange.
Carbon and Hydrogen = Blue and Violet.
Copper Compounds = Green or Blue.
Lithium = Red.

All hatchling's born from a single Phoenix dragon parent, will only be considered a Phoenix if born with an Odd ID#.
Even Numbered hatchling's will not be phoenix.

Hatchling's from two phoenix parents will be phoenix dragons, assuming they fit the color/gene requirements.
