Biography

Sunstone
"Life is a gift: don't waste it."


Sunstone was a true miracle.

Her parents believed that they could not have offspring, but they tried anyways. When they did succeed, the nest took much longer than a regular one to hatch. Sunstone's egg was softer than her sister's, and didn't float as easily as most Arcane eggs. The clan worried that the dreaded disease of eggrot had returned, but luck seemed to be on their side.

All was not well, though. Sunstone was born with very poor eyesight and a lack of magical energy. She did not have the Arcane gift of otherworldly knowledge, and she couldn't even do basic spells. It was very troubling to her mother, who was a gifted mage. Sunstone's sister developed her magic at a normal pace, so why was she behind?

Sunstone never really advanced in her magical abilities. She never seemed to mind, either. Overall, she was a happy and optimistic dragon. Even with her poor eyesight, she developed a passion for making jewelry and other small crafts. Her friends and family were always adorned with strings of beads and carved charms made by her skilled claws.
