Sundragon
Defender: It is a defender’s duty to patrol the clan and investigate any unusual occurrences. A defender will repel attacks made by shade infested creatures and protect the clan. It is also the duty of a defender to maintain their weapons and armor. They may call gather to bring the body of animals they have slain while protecting the clan back to the hoard to be used for food/useful materials. Lastly they deliver written messages from one clan member to another. Cynthia is usually the first defender at the scene when shade possessed creatures attack. Unlike other defenders she will not wait for help even if the situation is beyond what she can handle though after several severe injuries she has learned to use a more defensive fighting style when others defenders are not around. In true spiral fashion speed is the key to Cynthia’s fighting style. When a situation is too big for her to handle she tries to keep her opponent off balance. Holding their attention but inching away so they can’t reach her thus she stalls the battle. When other defenders are present she allows the enemy to focus on them which gives her openings to attack. When the enemy refuses to take their eyes off her she focuses on dodging and trusts her companion will be able to attack while she has her enemy distracted.
