Shadowdream, protector of the Clan Door/Entrance and Sacred/Holy Aurum Arcanis Protector. She protects the Clan from danger with the power of the arcane power of Shadows, she shine's brightly even in the darkest of nights, she (even)makes the darkness itself bright/shine.

She saw The Shade invading and she went to defend the Clan. Then, afterwards, that same night/day she found her charge while sleeping. In the dream everything started to be consumed by shadows and the shadowy tendrils and hands and claws by the shade started to encroach the Clan. Eventually it reached the Clan's entrance, where she desperately couldn't defend herself and only could think about her lost friends, how they would all die. In the end the shadows consumed her, it left her in complete darkness and then, that very moment in a split second all turned pitch-black. She woke up, ran to the Clan entrance, looked at it and decided that the Clan's safety would be her charge, no one shall pass through the Clan's entrance, not even the Shade. Maybe that's how she chose her name? or it was given to her because of that?
...or maybe I should roll with the idea that dragons are to remain unnamed until they get to choose their name... or are given one name, temporary, until they find their own, or they just adopt an additional one once they've found their purpose in life. An honorary name can also be bestowed under special circumstances. Also, this doesn't apply entirely to dragons that originate from other territories, but they often end up with a new name once settled here. Another idea would be to use oneiromancy to choose names... but that would be kinda tedious and a waste of time when there's more urgent maters waiting to be attended, not just some dragons' names, that's not important.

Her ''offspring'' are either = clanmates that protect the entrance with her (think guards) or other warrior ??? clanmates or... ! dragons she was training to help protect the clan. once they died they were given those names, since they never ended up receiving a chosen ''tilltalsnamn'' (they died too early after all). Unsleep is special, she decided to forge weapons to better arm her clanmates and tirelessly she never stops working, eventually her magic started to act on her own, allowing her not to sleep ever more. Sure, no more sweet dreams... but better that than allow her clanmates to go through terrifying nights and days sleepless or even plagued by nightmares. When not working, she always watch over them all, forever keeping their safety in her mind.
