Zebulon was wandering the Crystalspine Reaches when he happened to see a new lair being dug out by a lone female guardian. It was love at first sight to him, and he knew that he had to approach her. Once Zebulon saw that she was almost finished, he quietly approached from afar, stopping near some debris. He continued to observe, waiting for the right moment. Once he saw an opening, he deftly introduced himself, barely hiding his instant attraction to her. However, she did not mind one bit, and was friendly with him only after several moments of exchanging words. They founded the clan right then and there in the Crystalspine Reaches. Though they felt close, they were not sure if they were destined to be together. After a few flings, they finally decided that they were truly meant for each other. They both vowed not to stray from their bond.

During their early stay in the Starfall Isles, they felt as though they did not belong, despite the fact that they both embraced magical energies and the power of the cosmos. Something was just...off; the others that they met were a strange type of eccentric and eclectic that did not merge well to them. Zebulon yearned for the chilling embrace and solitude that the Southern Ice Fields could offer. After a discussion amongst the fledgling clan, it was a universal agreement that they would move out of the Arcanist's strange realm and into the Icewarden's harsh-yet-inviting paradise. Once they had finally made the trek (thankfully for them, the two regions were practically beside one another, making their traveling much easier, though they had to cross part of the sea to reach their destination), the whole clan began building a new life in the Frigid Floes. eventually moving their way southeast to the Cloudscrape Crags.

Zebulon is an extremely vindictive and vicious Mirror. Through his time in the Starfall Isles, he has become a potent wielder of magic and uses it for dark and sinister purposes. He specializes in curses, sorcery, and animism. Contrary to his aggressive demeanor towards those he is wary and skeptical of, he is very protective and loyal to his clanmates, never to betray them. He puts all of his faith and trust in his mate, Ahaziah. Since he cannot read others' auras as she can, he depends on her judgment of outsiders; if she acts open and friendly toward a stranger, he will, in turn. If he does not have her around for this, he is very closed off and unwilling to make the effort to discover their motives or purpose, driving them away to protect his clan.
