Minra and Kurro embraced their eldest tightly.
"Stay safe Kitten, and if you feel lonely, always come home. Okay?" Kurro ordered Kitten smiled up at her father.
"I will Dad." She turned to her mother. "Wish me luck!" Minra hugged her daughter once more.
"Good luck." she whispered. Letting go Kitten turned to her brother. Lucifer gave her a big hug.
"See you soon sis." She smiled.
"Stay out of trouble little brother." The separated and Kitten walked up to Carren. Carren nodded. They were ready to go. They both bounded off and -with one last wave to her family- left in search of new adventures.

Kitten hadn't traveled far when she came across the windswept plateau. There she found tranquility and peacefulness. Flying over Reedclift Ascent, the young dragon battled the fierce winds that whipped around viciously. Though she was experienced in flying, these winds bested her ability.
Flying high, Kitten tried to ride the updrafts to free herself from the tumultuous wind--but she was promptly swept up in even stronger winds. It was hard for her to see in the swirling masses of air and storms-a mixture of fog and rain keeping her dazed and confused. She closed her eyes, just for a moment, and when she awoke she found herself in dragon's dwellings in the eye of the storm.
Seeing that Kitten was awake, the matriarch of the clan- Saga- filled the young dragon in on what happened. Apparently the wyrmling had been fiercely battling the weather in an attempt to free herself, and it was then that a sudden gust of wind pushed her around with such force she began to fall. Luckily, a couple of other dragons from the clan were nearby and they caught the dragon before she had a chance to hit the ground.
Saga offered for the red dragon to stay as long as she needed to before setting off on her journey once more. Kitten found that the clan was very hospitable, and became fast friends with many of the dragons before she bid her goodbyes. Some of the hatchlings all but begged for her to stay, but she knew that there were still many adventures that she needed to have.
Before she left, Saga offered Kitten a gift to remember them by--a white renaissance shirt. The large imperial told the smaller dragon that when she arrived she'd been cold. A shirt ought to fix her right up and keep her toasty on her travels.

Before long, Kitten found herself in the Tangled Wood. The crooked trees were not at all what she was used to. She wandered through the woods and stumbled upon a wildclaw who, after introducing herself as Sloth, invited Kitten back to her clan to rest from her journey. The dragons she met there were friendly, and took her in for a few days before she decided to set out again. Although she was only there a couple of days, she learned much about the clan and made friendships that would last. Before she left one of the friends she had made, Phoibe, gave her pearly wing bangles to match her own, so that Kitten would never forget about the time she spent here.

After a while Kitten travelled to the Starfall Isles and was welcomed by small Fae clan. The very day she arrived a very unusual hatchling were come to life in one of the clan's nests. Otherwise ordinary child, he had wings severely infected by Plague. Therefore all the mages and especially healers were busy watching out for hatchling and cleansing nests.
Two of the most praised clan's warriors were trying to distract Kitten from worrying too much and proposed to join their hunt. They showed her around and teached a pair of fighting tricks, so Carren could get some help from his protege. Airmed, the beautiful lady-warrior, gave some old armor of hers to young dragon, so she can be safe in her travels.
Without staying too long, Kitten continued her journey.

When Kitten was guided into the Forgotten Clan's lair, she wasn't sure what to expect. The rowdy clan was certainly different to what she had been used to before, but the dragons seemed friendly enough... Well, most of them, anyway. She didn't stay for too long, as the dragons in the lair were noisy. Very noisy. They even had a brightly coloured Pearlcatcher as their personal alarm clock - Lucky was incredibly adamant and enthusiastic about awakening people from their slumber at an early hour in the morning.

The heat of the Ashfall Waste didn't bother Kitten at all. It was exhilarating even. She felt stronger and more at peace than she had ever felt during her travels - she was in her element. When she stopped at a nearby clan, she almost got mistaken for a thief by two large Imperial guards. Apparently there had been recent attempts to steal eggs even in broad daylight by dragons who posed as harmless travelers. Kitten was only allowed to stay if she agreed to be constantly accompanied by Cord, a Mirror boy wearing a white wolf cape. He took his role as a guard seriously, but he also assured Kitten he didn't think she was a thief. There was always at least one traveler around here, so he had learned to tell them apart. He said they all had the same air about them, whatever that meant.
When Kitten finally got tired of constantly hanging around other warriors because that was what Cord liked to do, she decided it was time to continue her journey.

Once again Kitten found herself in the Twisted Wood, this time surrounded by a strange mish-mash of scholars and warriors who called themselves The Clan of Whispering Willows. The energetic and playful air of the clan made playing with hatchlings hard to resist, and play-fights were a common game that Kitten played with many of the hatchlings- and occasionally, some of the adults. A handful of scholars asked her nonstop questions about her journey, and recorded as much as they could. Kitten made several new friends in this clan, but her closest was no doubt the local jeweler, a pearlcatcher who went by the name Angel, who gifted her a Ruby Teardrop Belt that she made herself (and was later revealed to have been enchanted with a minor protection spell by the local witch, who didn't tell anyone and you really need to stop enchanting things without teling people Leiloni) when it was time for her to continue her journey.

Moonwater - Arrived 09/15/15 - Left 9/16/15
Kitten was wandering about when she was viciously attacked by another dragon with an unknown identity. Her enchanted belt did nothing to protect her, and he looted her belongings off of her, stole her familiar, and flew off, laughing. When she awoke, she was in a large grey stone castle. Before she fainted, she heard some other dragon saying where she was: the Mystical Moon Mage College-Clan in the Starwood Strand.
The next time she awoke, she did not immediately fall back into unconsciousness. The clan's resident healer, Megwyn, gave her a glass of water for her dry throat. Megwyn cautioned Kitten not to move, because her wings had been shredded to pieces. Even the ministrations of the Arch-Mage herself could not heal her completely. The wings looked whole and fine, but the nerves were damaged beyond repair. Kitten was unable to fly or control her wings at all. She shed bitter tears over the loss of her wings and the sentimental objects she had received on her journey. Megwyn had her take a potion to induce sleep, promising her that if there was a way for her to regain her power of flight, the mages would find it.
When Kitten made a full recovery, the mages revealed that there was no way to heal her wings. However, they did make a contraption that would allow her to fly. They gifted the contraption to her, a pair of Brass Steampunk Wings that were enchanted to allow flight. They then took her to a room filled with apparel, and told her to choose whatever she wished, to make up for having lost her apparel before. With tears in her eyes, Kitten thanked the kind mages, and set about choosing her apparel. A Nomad's Sandwastes Sash, enchanted with another minor protection spell. Dented Iron Pauldrons and a Rose High Noon Hank, like the ones she used to have. When she was about to leave, she chose a set of Alchemist Eyewear and casually slung it over her head.
As soon as Kitten stepped out of the room, an Octoflyer pounced on her. Deeming it her new familiar, she decided to rest for a little while before departing again.

Kitten was walking around late at night when she stumpbled over a pile of rocks. As she landed hard on the ground she heared a voice hissing, "No! Don't you dare touch my rocks!" A large Imperial dragon suddenly bodyslammed into the small pile of rocks, "Oh wait...these aren't my rocks." She said with confusion as she got back up on her legs. "Ohhh.. Hi there! Who might you be?" the Imperial said with sudden realization and helped Kitten and her Octoflyer up.
"My name is Kitten and I'm traveling around to different clans." Kitten replied, still a bit confused at the sudden appearence of the Imperial.
"That sounds like it could be fun! Would you like to come visit my clan? Oh and my name is Sariel!", the Imperial said with a big grin on her face.
Kitten agreed to visit Sariels home and after some time spent walking and chatting with eachother they reached a big clan in Dragonhome.
Sariel showed Kitten to the two founders of the earthclan, Iceus and Aryte.
"You're of course welcome to stay for as long as you want to.", the two dragons said. "It'd be nice of you to help out with hunting or gathering though if you're able to, we'd appreciate all the help me can get!"
Kitten agreed that it made sense and decided to stay in the clan for a while. She quickly became friends with Sariel who loved to show Kitten around in the earth territories, especially showing her things like the Pillar of the World and of course the big rock and gem collection the clan had in their caves.
One day Kitten told Sariel that she wanted to move on, to maybe see some more of the world as there still was so much she wanted to see, to experience. Sariel looked a bit sad at first but then her face suddenly brightened.
"I know what I can do for you then! I'll give you some gifts that you can remember me by! That is if you'd like them? I was thinking something fire themed as you were born in a fire clan. Something like a Will o' the Ember and an accent?"
Kitten looked up at Sariel; "I won't ever forget you even if I don't have any kind of token from you. We're friends and will always be, that's something I'll always remember no matter how far away I travel."
Sariel laughed tearfully and gave Kitten a hug. "Friends forever it is then!" She said with a big grin.
Shortly after Kitten left the lair in Dragonhome, waving goodbye to the new friends she had met, maybe someday she'll be able to return back and meet them all again.

Abu: 11/19/15 to 11/23/15-
As Kitten flew off, she felt hot tears begin to stream down her face. she had been on her journey for so long, and Sariel had been her one true friend. She tried to remind herself of why she was traveling, but her thoughts grew as foggy as her eyes. Needing to solidify herself, she began to fly down to touch solid ground. But it wasn't the ground her claws touched, but the back of rough, grizzled Guardian out doing patrols. Not one to welcome visitors, he slammed her up against a tree and pinned her against it. "There's not a lot of use for travelers around here," he growled. "Lucky for you, it's a festival soon and my own mirror lady has been looking for this accent to wear to it. I'll forgive your trespassing in exchange for your treasures." With that, he disappeared into the night. Kitten cowered against the tree, sad, lonely, and with every bone in her body aching. Days seemed to pass before she gathered up her strength to go find her familiar, which had scampered away, and was ready to move off to safer territories.
