"Whew, some of you guys are so heavy! And I thought you little ones were just a few days old... Hey! Wait! Don't pull on the gems... I have some bamboo if you'd like to play with that instead." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Emerald, while he looks like a big, tough, brute (and even acts like it sometimes!), he actually has a soft heart. He cares a lot about hatchlings, so much that he is actually the clan’s babysitter and is a very fatherly dragon. However, when it comes to battle or fighting, he isn’t that strong at all and loses his appearance of being tough. When he isn’t acting to be something he isn’t, he has a personality of an overprotective, prince. Emerald is very overprotective over the hatchlings in the clan, almost to the point of laying down his life for them. He acts very regally and important, however, that side of him has dimmed down a bit after meeting his mate, Pearl. He first met his love, Pearl, in the Viridian Labyrinth when he was part of The Gladekeeper’s realm. However, he was so charmed by Pearl that he moved with her to the Windswept Plateau and changed from his princely ways to the caring, loving, and quite awkward dragon he is now.
