Biography
"Come to me, child... do not be afraid..."
Shadeholder
Nobody knows how or why she appeared on the borders of the Kingdom of Blaze, but she did. Nomads and travelers commented on her presence to the Queen, Inferna, who eventually decided to investigate herself. She approached her with guards trailing behind, in case she was dangerous, but she didn't seem to have any harmful intentions. However, she did not seem to know how to speak well, and did not remember her name. Inferna decided it would be best to bring her into the Kingdom and have doctors look her over. Besides having amnesia, she was in perfect health. Inferna let her choose her own name, and she decided on Tsuki. She was allowed free access to roam the Kingdom, as she was deemed safe, but residents report her mumbling strange words under her breath and odd energy being radiated from her home. Inferna is not worried about this, however - she is fine with her odd ways, as long as she does not harm anyone. She also doesn't seem to like adults very much, but her and the children get along very well, and is often seen playing with them and teaching them about magic. However... it is a bit strange... Ever since she arrived, several of the Kingdom's children have gone missing...
I wonder where they went.
Quote:
Shadeholders are dragon skins embodied by the Shade. When a dragon dies, the Shade can reincarnate it and use the body to its own benefit. They are essentially the Shade with the ability to walk, talk, and think. They have a hive mind ultimately controlled by the first Shadeholder to ever exist - a Skydancer named Naomi. They are more intelligent in groups, but they often prefer to work alone. A Shadeholder is able to cause conflict in clans by shadetouching a dragon. If a Shadeholder causes a war to break out between clans, any dragons who are killed in the battle surrender the years of life they would have had remaining had they not died in battle to the Shadeholder who caused it. Causing conflict is how Shadeholders keep their dragon bodies youthful. Shadeholders are tricky and maniacal, and they believe that they are god-like. They refer to themselves as "Prophets of the Shade" or simply "The Prophets." It is common for Shadeholders to take after bits of their body's original owner's personality. Even with the pieces of individuality that they express, a drone Shadeholder is nothing without its hive queen.
