A scientist and researcher, Rosalind first came to the Snapping Swamp to study the genomes of swamp life. She requested permission to stay on the clan's territory while she was in the area, and soon grew attached to the odd group of dragons. (Perhaps due to the influence of Tesla, who is now her girlfriend.)

She's now located permanently in the Snapping Swamp as a full clan member. However, that's about all that's permanent about her. Her study of genes has her intrigued with the effects of gene change scrolls, and she frequently changes her own genes, from color changes to breed changes.
