Biography
I am the deviation of hue between two progeny; the persistence, and loss, of a gene along the generations. I am Heredity. I monitor and chronicle the Grove's progeny, plant and dragon alike.
I am proud of my origins in the Hearth, and have fond memories of my time there, but I am much happier here. Although Dwfraur has, by and large, taught me common draconian, I never fully grasped it and am much more comfortable speaking in coatl.
I'm fascinated by the history and patterns of life, I share that with my mate. But while Dwfr is more interested in the grand concepts and intentions of history, it is numeric fact and distinct lineage that holds my attention.
I try to stay in contact with all dragons who leave the Grove, updating documents on their own offpsring. I do sometimes ask dragons here about their parentage, but few know and even fewer are willing to discuss...besides, I'm more interested in where things are going than where they have come from. That's precisely what this Grove is all about, after all.
And if you're here to ask about the plants, please do. I have personally documented the creation of whole new cultivars of crop; new varieties of grass; sturdier trees that grow twice as fast; and Tywyll's flowers are particularly interesting creations. Fungi are new to me, but the invasive spread is fascinating. I'm pretty sure some of them are interbreeding with native varieties.
Oh, and I've been keeping a watchful eye on the breeders - Breena's toridae are getting out of control, and are starting to inbreed in a way that cannot end well for anyone. Xamney's birds are a complicated latticework of teired production, always just barely squeaking clear of inbreeding themselves, and occasionally cross-breed with Liliana's corvid flock. Paxid himself has recently taken an interest in lepidoptery, though his understanding of things is very...basic at the moment.

Exalting Mamaea to the service of the Gladekeeper will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
